As a quick overview reminder, beginning 2nd semester - February 1, 2021, the district will offer a hybrid (2 days a week in person) option for those families who opt to return and we will also continue to offer our distance learning for those families who prefer to remain online.  It is up to each family to choose the option that works best and that you are most comfortable with. Keep in mind that both options are back to the traditional full day school schedule.

OPTION 1: HYBRID IN-PERSON (student will come into the building 2 days a week depending on residency location and bus transportation routes - the other 3 days of the week the student will remain online in distance learning - traditional school full day schedule M, T, TH, F with W 1/2 day schedule)

OPTION 2: DISTANCE LEARNING (student will remain online via the Google Meet and Google Classroom platform that we have been using since the start of the school year - traditional school full day schedule M, T, TH, F with W 1/2 day schedule)

If you are a family who would like your scholar to return into the building via the In-Person Hybrid option, we will need a couple of things to be completed BY THE PARENT, in order to secure your scholar's seat.  This is for the in-person option ONLY!

1. Please complete the In-Person Application. (This MUST be completed to sign up to return in-person) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGvbvu78cKdGUmxX37Ql_F1f2pdnP2_XsZrNVZeJx5ldqFTg/viewform?usp=sf_link

2. Please complete the Transportation Form.  https://tinyurl.com/y4pr6ahb

We hope that you can join us for the Parent Town Hall Meetings this week to hear more about these options and how they will look at the high school.  If you cannot make it, please stay posted for further details and information.  As always, we appreciate your continued partnership in ensuring the best for our students throughout this time!

Have a wonderful week!

High School Extended COVID-19 Learning Training Report

Weekly Update, 1/11/2021

Hello High School Scholars and Families:

We hope that your New Year is off to a wonderful start and that you and your families continue to stay safe and healthy.  We sent out a family survey last week so that we can get an idea of what our families plan is for the return to school.  If you have not had a chance to do so, please make sure that the survey is completed by a parent as soon as possible.  Thank you to the many families who have already completed it.

RRHS Return to School Parent Survey

As many of you may have heard, the Governor has recommended that all school districts offer an in-person option for families by March 1, 2021.  Our district has worked diligently to protect our students, staff, and families by monitoring the data and planning through the pandemic.  While the district does not have a finalized plan, we are working to begin to return students back in-person, in some capacity, at the start of the new semester on February 1, 2021.  Many of our families have noted on their surveys that they prefer to remain online, which will also continue to be offered.

As a finalized plan is available, we will share with our families via email, parent meetings, informational videos, etc.  We appreciate your ongoing support and understanding of the district during this pandemic.
