Sealed bids for the School District of the City of River Rouge, Transportation Bid Package #1:
will be received until 2:00 P.M (local time), on Monday, April 24, 2023 at River Rouge High School’s LGI Room located at:

Bids received after this time and date will not be considered or accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened.
Faxed proposals will not be accepted.
Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud and tabulated, beginning at approximately 2:00 P.M, April 24, 2023.
Bidding documents. will be available for public inspection at River Rouge School District administration office at the address above.
Bidding Documents will be available beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023 via the following:
- Bidders may obtain one (1) set of bidding documents by downloading them from the district website at https://riverrougeschools.org/district/request-for-proposals/
- Bidders may pickup a set of bidding documents at the School Districts administration office during normal business hours at the address above.
There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the School District of the City of River Rouge LGI Room located at 1460 W. Coolidge Hwy., River Rouge, MI 48218. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
All bids should include 6 copies (1 original, 5 copies) of the Proposal Pricing Form (Appendix F), the Familial Disclosure Affidavit (Appendix E), the Iran Linked Business Affidavit (Appendix G).
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security, in either the form of a bid bond or certified bank check, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the Bid, payable to School District of the City of River Rouge, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the School District is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or failure of the Bidder to enter a Contract for performance, Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing.
If awarded a contract, the successful bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
The School District of the City of River Rouge reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept a bid other than the lowest bid.
