Remote Learning and Drop In Updates

Hello RRHS Panther Scholars and Families:

We hope that you enjoyed your holiday . . . As a reminder, classes resume online tomorrow at 8:00am.  As was shared before the Thanksgiving break, all instruction and instructional support will remain virtual/online until January 15, 2021.  This means that in-person drop-in centers will be paused however, each teacher will offer Virtual Drop In/Office Hours in the afternoons.

Classes end at 12:00pm, however, school continues after lunch with each teacher conducting virtual drop in 1-3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Students should use this time to meet with teachers, get assistance in small groups, and complete assignments and classwork.  Attached you will find the list of teachers with their Google Meet link to their afternoon office hours.  If a link is not included here, please contact the teacher directly.

In addition, the office will be open daily and technology support will still be offered.  If you need any further assistance, please let us know.  The office phone number if (313) 297-9600.

Hello High School Scholars and Families:

We want to first start by thanking each of you for your diligence and patience during our continued navigation of remote learning.  Our scholars are doing an amazing job and we appreciate the support from all of our families.

As we near the end of our marking period for Quarter 1, we want to just make sure that we keep each of you in the loop of what is coming.  Quarter 1 will end on Friday, November 6 which means that all assignments and work should be submitted by this date.  Scholars - please reach out to your teachers about any missing assignments so that you can ensure that everything is completed by next Friday.

Quarter 2 will begin on Monday, November 9.  We continue to evaluate our status for the upcoming quarter and will keep you informed as anything changes.  We are working diligently to monitor the science and data, as well as progress around the state, in order to make the most informed decisions within the district.

As always, we appreciate your support and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the high school office @ (313) 297-9600.
